When I grow up I dream of being ….

We’re all about realising dreams and so we were especially excited to receive these photographs highlighting the ambitions of some of our sponsored pupils from The Charity School in Tanzania.
In a recent classes, the pupils were asked to think about for what they’d like to be when they grow up.
Their chosen professions ranged from soldier, through nurse and doctor to a pilot.
We love that they are aiming high!

These children are fortunate to be attending this independently run school where they have the opportunity to learn subjects not taught in the government run schools.  In particular, learning English will help to open up many more career choices in later life.  In turn, this could signal a turn around for their wider families – many of whom struggle for money and employment.
It is an honour for us to be working with this inspiring school and providing sponsorship for 17 children covering all their education costs. And with a such a great education behind them, who knows what doors could open for these children after they leave school? We would love to have played a part in them realising their dreams.

Clockwise from top left - Fanuel dreams of becoming a soldier, David has set the bar high aiming to be a doctor, Edith is a caring girl who would love to become a nurse and Derrick wants to fly high as a pilot. We are delighted to help meet their education costs so they have the opportunity to realise their dreams when they are older.
