Gerardine Puts Her Best Foot Forward at Emil Dale

Our latest award goes to theatre student, Gerardine (16), from Suffolk. Gerardine begins studying at Emil Dale with The Realising Dreams Foundation supporting her next steps towards a professional career on the stage.

Gerardine impressed the trustees with online video clips that brought her talent to life. Gerardine is an all-round performer – strong singer and dancer, as well as actor. She has many roles and accolades throughout her journey including singing as a soloist at Theatretrain’s 20th Anniversary Concert at the O2 Arena, and playing Fauntine in her school’s production of Les Misérables. She is eager to now take these talents to the next level.

The Realising Dreams Foundation seeks to nurture talent and ambition in young people helping to remove the financial barriers that threaten their chances of success.

After moving between Spirit Young Performers Company and Bodyworks Company during her formative performance education, Gerardine now begins a two-year musical theatre course. Emil Dale Academy provides an ideal environment for her to grow as a performer ready to take to the professional stage in pursuit of her dreams.
