Harrison Takes The Stage At Sylvia Young

The Realising Dreams Foundation has approved a new performing arts award to support 14 year-old Harrison from Cheshire in his place at Sylvia Young Theatre School where he’ll study alongside another successful applicant Max.

Harrison has been acting since a very young age, and appeared on stage and screen. His previous include Matilda the Musical, Goodnight Mr. Tom, and most recently playing young Harry in the new Harry Potter and the Cursed Child production, and the tap dancing Nose in the Royal Opera House production of The Nose.

Harrison has been attending Sylvia Young Theatre School and his training there has helped him earn his most recent roles.  However, financial pressures on the family were threatening to prevent him from continuing his place there.

Harrison’s references also showed him to be a supportive and encouraging cast member – often taking extra time running lines with his fellow actors.

The Realising Dreams Foundation was impressed with his work ethic and kind-hearted approach to both life and acting. We look forward to seeing how Harrison’s ongoing education at Sylvia Young will help give him the edge needed to secure future performance roles in this competitive field.
