Jeremiah Dreams Big

The Realising Dreams Foundation is pleased to announce their latest award recipient – Jeremiah (11) from East London. He has performed an impressive number of lead roles for his age, and has quickly built himself a reputation as a dedicated and professional young actor. He was recently cast in his newest role as Jackie in the West End transfer of Caroline, Or Change.

His experience includes, among others, playing Young Simba in the touring The Lion King, as well as Young Lola in Kinky Boots. He has also modelled for brands such as Nike, Zara, Primark and H&M.

Competition for a performing arts award this summer was extremely high, and deciding on a recipient was no easy task. Jeremiah is not only a talented and experienced performer, but he and his family worked immensely hard and made sacrifices with their limited income to enable him to pursue his dream.

Jeremiah also embodied the spirit and values of the Realising Dreams Foundation inspiring others and giving back. With a little help from The Realising Dreams Foundation, Jeremiah has now begun his full-time education at The Sylvia Young Theatre School. Jeremiah says:

“Being able to train full time at Sylvia Young Theatre School has been something I have dreamt about for a very long time. I am learning so much and I’m really excited to be here. I will always be grateful to The Realising Dreams Foundation because with their help I now feel like I have a better chance of getting closer to my dream of becoming a successful actor. My parents have always encouraged and supported me and I hope will be able to encourage other people to dream big and work hard because anything is possible.”

We’ll be supporting him throughout the coming year and are sure this will alleviate the immediate financial pressures facing his family and enable Jeremiah to extend his talent for performing. Congratulations on your new role Jeremiah, and all the very best of luck!
