Language Linking, Global Thinking – Honduras to U.K.

Our Honduras volunteer teacher Sara is now one month into her year of teaching English. She is working in a primary school in a small town called Candelaria and is also finding time to also teach the nursery school children.
Sara has always been an inspiring applicant going the extra mile with her fundraising and working with children from her home community of Dunblane. She’s now extending those skills and a zest for travel and languages to benefit young children in Honduras.
While out there she is also taking part in a programme called Language Linking, Global Thinking which helps to share her experiences with schools back in the UK. Her link school is Grantown Grammar. They follow her progress and have the chance to ask questions about life in Honduras, the local cultures and find out more about her experience of teaching English.
