Lily Gets Stagestruck

Lily (13) has become the final performing arts student to receive support from The Realising Dreams Foundation until later this year.
Our foundation is contributing towards weekly performing arts classes for the next few months in the hope it gives her the edge she needs to secure new roles.
Lily who has starred in Matilda The Musical and performed with the National Youth Theatre was struggling to meet the costs of weekly classes necessary to continue her training and complete her LAMDA exams. Her talent and success in Matilda won her a scholarship at Ipswich High School. And while she is an active performing in school shows, she doesn’t receive specialist performing arts training there.
Lily, like many other performing arts students, got a taste for treading the boards and is eager to win new roles in this highly competitive field.
Lily’s family have limited income and have faced significant struggles over the last two years finding the costs for her singing, dancing and drama classes at local Stagestruck Academy.
We look forward to watching Lily’s progress and hope that our small contribution will make a difference and give Lily the training she needs to shine at auditions for a future role.

The Realising Dreams Foundation aims to support a varied mix of talents. In 2017 we have given a number of ongoing awards to performing arts recipients and we will not be consider new applications like this until later this year. The priority for the coming months is to attract applicants from talent areas we have not yet supported. Find out more on our website, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
