Realising Dreams at National GO Awards

goawardThe Realising Dreams Foundation will highlighted  its work at the national Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards in Manchester . They raised the magnificent sum of £1,463

The gala awards ceremony was held at The Hilton Deansgate in Manchester. The GO Awards showcase the very best that public sector procurement has to offer – as a career, as a market sector and, most importantly, as a means of delivering more efficient and effective public services.

They have chosen The Realising Dreams Foundation as their nominated charity. Guests at the Scottish GO awards last October raised a fantastic £2,800 to support the work of the children’s charity.

In Manchester, guests heard more about the work of the foundation including updates on some of the young people whose dreams are becoming a reality thanks to donations.

Realising Dreams Foundation trustee, Sam Hunter said:”We were blown away by the response we got at the Scottish awards and are honoured to also have been chosen as the nominated charity at the national awards.

“These awards recongise excellence in procurement and our charity seeks to recognise and support excellence in young people – helping them achieve and exceed their potential. Together we can make more dreams take flight!”

Those who make a donation to The Realising Dreams Foundation on the night will be in with a chance of winning a signed Wayne Rooney Football boot, an overnight stay at the Hilton Deansgate hotel Manchester and a bottle of Champagne.
