The Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland have this year nominated The Realising Dreams Foundation as their chosen charity.

450 guests from across Scotland are attending a gala awards dinner at The Marriott Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday 6th October to recognise excellence within procurement and the wider business and social community.

Realising Dreams Foundation trustee, Sam Hunter, will be giving a short presentation about the work of the charity.

She said:”We think its a perfect fit for our charity to have been invited to speak at these awards because we are looking to support the next generation of young people, helping them realise their dreams and achieve their potential.

“There will be no shortage of ordinary young people with an extraordinary desire to excel, succeed and help others. But sometimes it is difficult for them to know where to go for these sources of funding.  Tomorrow’s event will help us promote our goals, the kinds of people we can support, and spread the word right across Scotland. Together we can make dreams take flight!”

Guests who make a donation to The Realising Dreams Foundatiob tomorrow will be in with a chance of winning a bottle of champagne, a sailing day for six people thanks to the Able2Sail charity and an overnight stay for two people generously donated by Hotel Colessio in Stirling.
